Lilies
Lilies are a beautiful flower that comes in many colours and kinds. The most common types of lilies are day lilies, water lilies and calla lilies. The shape of a lily is well know, the stamens in the centre the three curving petals with the three sepals outside of them. The stems of a lily are usually thick and tough. Calla lilies have more of a trumpet shape and water lilies boast more petals. To care for lilies plant them in rick soil and give them 5-6 hours of sunlight and a moderate amount of water. Lilies can be used on skin issues to help heal scar tissues and cuts/bruises/scrapes. They are also effective in treating heart issues like angina. Lilies are known for attracting birds and being used by muggles in aromatherapy. |
Roses
Roses are lovely flowers with much meaning toward relationships in Muggle society. They come in many colours and sorts. The rose bush has thorns and is classified a shrub. The most familiar type of rose is that with many overlapping petals. To care for a rose plant it in nutrient rich soil, dragon dung makes a good fertiliser, with partial to full sunlight and lots of water. However do not drown the plant.
